Comic Life Reflection

In our U.S. History class we were given a project to complete using the program Comic Life. We were given a group of partners two or three at the most and were also given a war to complete a comic on. My group included Donovan, Daemon and I. We were assigned the Persian Gulf War. Each war that each group was given was also covered in class before we started the project which helped a lot. Mr. Lydy, also provided the groups with sources that had pictures to include in our comic. Which made making the comic much easier. Each member had to complete at least four panels on each of their assigned night. So each member put an equal amount of effort into it each time. Some of the five qualities my group and I used were Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Inquiry. We used Communication by letting each other know what to write about and when to write about. We used Collaboration by working together. Also when one another didn’t agree with the others that one person had to collaborate with the group. The way we used Creativity was by coming up with ideas for the comic panels. Inquiry was also used by asking questions about the Persian Gulf War to get information for our comics. I really enjoyed this project, not just because of my group but I really liked using Comic Life and learning about the Persian Gulf War!
